File Encryptor does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The App functions entirely on your local device and does not transmit data to any external servers.

We do not collect:

• Personal Information (e.g., name, email, phone number)

• Location data
• Any other personally identifiable information

2. Permissions Required

The App requires the following permission to function properly:

• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE : This permission is needed to read, write, encrypt, and decrypt files stored on your device. The App does not access any files unless explicitly selected by the user.

No additional permissions are required. The App does not access your contacts, messages, location, camera, microphone, or any other personal data.

3. Security Measures

We take security seriously. The App implements the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit key to protect your files. The encryption process uses SHA-256 for key derivation and Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) modewith PKCS5Padding for enhanced security. We do not store or transmit your encryption keys or passwords.

To ensure your data security:

• The encryption key is derived dynamically using the password provided by the user.
• Encrypted files remain on your device unless manually shared by the user.
• The App does not upload, sync, or back up any files to the cloud or external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. It is completely free from advertisements and does not collect any behavioral data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not collect any data, we do not retain or delete any user-related information. Users have full control over their encrypted files, which remain stored on their device unless deleted manually.

6. Sharing and File Storage

The App allows users to encrypt files before uploading them to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, Gmail, Bluetooth, etc. However, File Encryptor does not manage, transmit, or store these files. The user is responsible for handling their encrypted files securely.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our official page. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
